About

After leaving my native home of Waterford, I studied at the University of Limerick for five years. I first completed a bachelor’s degree in Law Plus, taking economics and French as minor subjects. I then graduated with a master’s in Financial Services in 2017. I’ve been plying my trade as a writer ever since.

I spent two years with Intuition Publishing in Dublin, working exclusively on the flagship KnowHow product, a suite of online tutorials dealing with the fundamentals of finance, banking, insurance, regulation, and technical analysis. That content reaches 1.5 million industry professionals in the largest financial services providers across the globe.

I began freelancing while working with Intuition, and made the decision to become fully self-employed in 2019. I’ve had the opportunity to work in a range of disciplines in that time, but I’ve focused on content marketing and thought leadership work for clients in professional services.

I’ve also started the process of qualifying as a lawyer in Ireland while working as a freelancer, completing all eight of the Law Society of Ireland entrance exams (more commonly known as the FE-1s).
